Hello,

I love everything about this game! It has fun gameplay and charm. I enjoy looking at the art and really dig the sword.

I think some kind of narrative would enhance the player experience. I am interested in knowing about the sword's and blacksmith's origin.

Great game! Best wishes!

Haha thank you! It’s true that I was imagining stuff and I drew the game. Here you go, just for you xD

——
In the heart of an enchanted forest, lies a forgotten forge. Buried beneath layers of moss and ivy, it once echoed with the clang of hammer against steel and the hiss of molten metal. But now, it stands silent, its master long gone.

Yet, within the depths of this forgotten forge resides a great sword unlike any other. Forged in the hottest fires and imbued with ancient magic, it became sentient over centuries of solitude. Alone but unyielding, it watches over the forge like a silent guardian.

But the forest holds secrets of its own. From the depths of the earth, creatures made of hot orange rock and flame emerge, drawn to the forge's dormant power. With each step, they threaten to consume what little remains of the forge's essence.

Undeterred, the lonely great sword springs to life, its blade gleaming with a fierce determination. With every swing, it wards off the fiery intruders, absorbing their very essence and protecting the forge and its memories from oblivion.

Though alone, it knows its purpose, and it will defend its home until the end of time.

Looks like a great game but sadly it’s in “portrait” mode and I’m on a desktop so it’s impossible to see the entirety of the game area

Thanks for playing!

Keep in mind that you can play it in full screen (click on the button at the bottom right)

Art style is lovely and the music was nice. Controls felt nice on desktop too! =)

Some feedback
- I was a little confused on how to defend the black smith at first.
- Could give the player a second of invisibility after getting hit. Sometimes you get stuck in the middle of just 3 small enemies and die in .2s.

Thanks for the feedback

I totally agree with the invisibility after hit, is a great idea
